Gift Certificates for massage are available for purchase online, as well as at my office.

Massage Session Rates

My rates are set closer to what the out-of-pocket expense would be if my sessions were covered by insurance. This decision is based on a desire to align my business practice with my beliefs about the importance of receiving regular bodywork as part of a holistic wellness plan.

As I read the news, shop for my family's groceries, or investigate holistic therapy options for my family, I find myself pondering how difficult it can be to follow a healthy lifestyle. We are inundated with the influences of unhealthy cultural pressures, questionable food quality, a healthcare system frequently focused on disease-care vs wellness-care, and an uncertain economy including sky rocketing costs of essentials. Along with these issues come the effects of the stress arising in so many of us from reading the headlines, trying to make ends meet, and making difficult decisions about how to support healthy lifestyle choices. I am determined to take an active part in attempting to effect change.

My rates are not publicly posted because they are not set with a competitive aim in mind. Feel free to contact me privately, by phone or through the contact form.

Equine Natural Movement Series session rates

• 60-90 minute session: $90
• Travel fee: $20 for every additional 50 miles round trip traveled (fee is waived if there are 3 horses scheduled at the stable on the same visit)
• Full Series of 5 sessions (prepaid in full): $405 (10% discount)
• Maintenance package (4 sessions prepaid): $324 (10% discount)
• Free Evaluation: An initial evaluation is available allowing Karen a chance to assess the horse and to determine whether the work is appropriate. It also allows the owner a chance to see the work and how the horse responds. The session normally lasts about 30 minutes.

Policies

Sessions are by appointment only.

Payment in full is required at the start of the appointment. Cash and checks are acceptable methods of payment. If you'd like to use a credit card you can swipe it using "Square" or you can be emailed an invoice to be paid through PayPal. If payment is refused by the bank or credit agency, any fees accrued by Karen Small are owed by the client to Karen Small

Any client who is late for an appointment will be charged for the full session, and the session will end at the regularly scheduled time. In the event the client is unable to attend the scheduled session, 24 hour notice must be given to Karen Small. Any sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, will be charged at the full session rate.
